Coverage Per Gallon

• 4 oz test size yields approximately 20 ounces and covers 35–50 sq ft
• 33 oz yields approximately 1.25 gallons and covers 250–400 sq ft
• 1 gallon yields approximately 5 gallons and covers 800–1600 sq ft
• 5 gallon yields approximately 20 gallons and covers 5000–8000 sq ft

Directions for Use

Preparation

Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, oil, curing compounds, sealers, or any contaminants that may interfere with absorption. Mechanical cleaning or light etching may be required depending on the condition of the surface. Repair cracks and imperfections prior to application. Always test a small area to confirm color and dilution ratio.

Application Methods

• Pump sprayer for even distribution across large areas
• HVLP sprayer for a more controlled and uniform finish
• Brush or roller for smaller or detailed sections

Spray application is recommended for best consistency and professional results.

Application

Dilute SmartColor with clean water at a ratio ranging from 1:1 up to 1:4 depending on the desired color intensity and coverage. Apply evenly in light coats, allowing each layer to dry before applying additional coats to build depth of color.

Avoid over-application or pooling. Once fully dry, apply a compatible top coat such as acrylic, epoxy, or urethane sealer. For a premium finish, use a high gloss paver sealer or high gloss brick sealer to enhance color depth and surface protection.

Precautions

• Wear protective gloves, eyewear, and appropriate clothing during application
• Use in a well-ventilated area
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Do not apply to sealed or non-porous surfaces
• Always apply a compatible top coat for protection and performance

Freight: All shipments shall be F.O.B. Shipping Point, sent using the Buyer’s shipping account, with a $1.25 handling & packaging charge per box added to the invoice; or C.O.D. and shipping charges being paid in advance by NewLook shall be added to the invoice.

Any claims for loss or damage should be made promptly to the carrier at the time and place of delivery. Unless otherwise instructed in writing, Seller is authorized, as Buyer’s agent and at Buyer’s risk, to determine means of transportation and to choose the carrier.
