This advanced water-based cleaner safely dissolves efflorescence (sodium chloride deposits), lime, and other contaminants while being more user-friendly and surface-safe than traditional muriatic acid cleaners.

Note: EffLock Efflorescence Remover is highly effective at dissolving and removing efflorescence, salt deposits, lime, and alkalis from concrete and masonry surfaces. However, over time, lime (calcium hydroxide) present in efflorescence can react with carbon dioxide in the air through a natural process called carbonation, forming calcium carbonate (CaCO₃).
Once formed, calcium carbonate becomes significantly more difficult to remove using chemical cleaners alone and may require mechanical abrasion, such as:
